What I Do:

As Director of Music & Liturgy my primary role here at Incarnation is to oversee the entire music ministry. I plan and provide music for weekend Masses, most 8:30 am daily Masses, Holy Days, funerals and weddings. In addition, I conduct weekly choir rehearsals; cantor scheduling, training, and rehearsals; and brass quintet rehearsals. As a Liturgist, I am responsible for organizing and evaluating all liturgical services including the training of Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. I am also in charge of all that is involved in Live Streaming Masses for parishioners and visitors at home.

About me:

A Little About Me Personally: I was born in Louisville OH (we pronounce the “s”), went to St. Louis grade school, graduated from Brunnerdale High School Seminary (run by the Precious Blood of Dayton), and received a BS in Music and an MA in Church Music and Liturgy from St. Joseph’s College. I’ve just completed 40 years of music ministry in the Archdiocese. My wife and I live in Centerville with her parents.

Favorite Saint:

Mary of Fatima, Padre Pio, St. John Paul II

Favorite Bible Quote:

Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11
