Deb Ruemmele

What I Do:

My main job is bereavement ministry which involves meeting with families to plan a loved one's funeral, as well as attending the funeral Mass and overseeing all the details. Additionally, I assist in the Pastoral Office as needed, plan and host events for the office staff, help decorate church and care for various parish gardens.

About me:

I was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio. For many years, I was an elementary school teacher, mostly in the Toledo diocese. Then for seven years, I was co-owner/operator of a Bed and Breakfast in Piqua, Ohio, and I still consider hospitality a personal ministry. As a musician, I teach piano lessons and also play Mass at St. Leonard's and sometimes here at Incarnation. My hobbies include gardening, sewing, decorating, crafting and figuring ways to make things better.
