Meet Our Young Adult Minister

My name is Michaela Dean! I am originally from Delaware, Ohio, but I went to college at Clemson University in South Carolina where I majored in Botany and minored in Biosystems Engineering. I moved to Centerville in September of 2020 to be an agronomy consultant. At Clemson I converted to the Catholic faith while hordes of my peers were leaving, and I have been volunteering and helping to lead my peers closer to God ever since. I have been with my boyfriend Matthew for almost 7 years, and I live with two very needy roommates, my black cats Phantom and Poe. When I’m not busy with ministry I enjoy playing animal crossing, crafting, archery, gardening, paddle boarding, swing dancing, and making gin.

Fun Facts:

My Birthday: All Saints Day (aka November 1st)

Favorite Color: Olive Green

Favorite Snack: Charcuterie board (it’s an adult lunchable)

Favorite Drink: Coffee or Body Armor (depending if I need caffeine or hydration)
